Refund Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Storezilla ("we", "our", or "us") subscriptions. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, so some refunds are handled directly by Paddle on our behalf (see section 6).
2. Free Trial — Try Before You Pay
Every plan includes a free trial with full access and no credit card required, so you can evaluate the Service before being charged. We strongly encourage using the trial to confirm Storezilla fits your business — because subscription fees are only charged once you actively choose to subscribe.
3. Subscription Fees
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Because you can fully evaluate the Service during the free trial, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except:
- Where a refund is required by applicable law or consumer-protection regulation
- Duplicate charges or a demonstrable billing error on our side
- A charge made after a valid cancellation was submitted
- At our reasonable discretion, as a goodwill gesture
We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods or for time left on a plan after you downgrade or cancel.
4. Annual Plans
Annual plans are billed once for the full year at a discount. If you cancel an annual plan, it will not renew at the end of the term and you retain access until the paid period ends. The prepaid annual fee is non-refundable except in the circumstances listed in section 3.
5. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription in the app, or via the Paddle billing portal. On cancellation:
- You keep full access until the end of the current paid billing period
- You are not charged again after the current period ends
- Your data is retained for 90 days after the period ends, to allow reactivation or export
Cancelling stops future billing; it does not by itself trigger a refund of fees already paid.
6. Payments & Merchant of Record (Paddle)
Paddle is the seller and Merchant of Record for all Storezilla transactions and handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Refunds may be issued either by us or directly by Paddle. You can also raise a refund or billing query with Paddle using the receipt emailed to you at the time of purchase, or via paddle.net.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email billing@codejunction.co with the account/business name, the email on the subscription, and the charge date or invoice number. We aim to respond within one business day and to resolve eligible requests promptly. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the account while the dispute is investigated with Paddle.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and where appropriate communicated by email or in-app notice.
